Jeff Dolan
Forensic Consultant
Jeff Dolan is a coroner with more than 13 years experience in the field of forensics. Originally from the East Coast, Jeff graduated from the police academy in 1996 then relocated west to serve in the Lower Mainland.
In 2002, armed with a biology degree and five years experience as a police officer, Jeff began conducting medical-legal investigations for the Coroner’s Office. His work there has involved him in the investigation of a myriad of cases including various accidents, homicides, suicides, and unidentifieds.
Jeff’s unique experience has frequently proved indispensable to members of the film and television industry. His consulting work began in 1998 with “A Minor Inconvenience,” a documentary premiered as a part of the UBC Persistence of Vision film festival. Since then several TV shows have drawn on Jeff’s insight, including “GTA’s Most Wanted” and “Eleventh Hour.” Recently, Jeff’s consulting experience has grown to include a novel and involvement in an upcoming National Geographic documentary about the severed feet turning up along the British Columbian coast line.
